Day Visit

This area is surrounded by the Ramganga and Mandal rivers at many places. The area is particularly famous for spotting wild elephants and otters at the Domunda Bridge. The famous Mahsheer fish can also be seen in the river water of Durga Devi Anchal. Durga Devi Anchal is one of the five anchals.

It is located in the northeastern part of Jim Corbett National Park. It is known for its rugged terrain, which includes steep slopes and narrow gorges, and is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including tigers, leopards, elephants, and several species of birds. Jeep safari is the best option to visit Durga Devi area. Visitors must obtain a permit and be accompanied by a licensed guide. The best time to visit the zone is from November to June, when the weather is pleasant and the animals are most active.
